Job Summary:
The Junior Finance Support role is responsible for various operational tasks, including account maintenance, disbursements, transfers, and research for a financial services business.
The role involves handling reports, clearing debits, resolving escalated issues, processing payments, and addressing client requests.
The Junior Finance Support Associate must meet production and quality standards, cross-train in multiple functions, and adhere to compliance and control guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:Perform account maintenance, including disbursements, transfers, and research.Handle reports, outstanding debits, and escalated issue resolution.Process payments, manage correspondence, and update client accounts.Conduct scanning, stock transfers, check and Fed wire disbursements, and check stop payments.Interact with internal and external clients, as well as peers in the Service Center or other Operations teams.Ensure adherence to compliance and control guidelines.Meet production and quality standards and cross-train in multiple operational functions.Required Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet navigation.Strong time and stress management skills.Conflict management and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.Ability to work effectively in a team and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Initiative, follow-through, and accountability.Preferred Qualifications:
College degree is preferred.Previous experience in financial services or operations is advantageous.Technical support skills are a plus.
