We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development, implementation, and support of enterprise-level IT projects for FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement). The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis, system design, and technical expertise to analyze, design, develop, and implement IT solutions that meet FDLEs business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to prepare functional, design, and technical specification documents.Conduct structured, detailed analysis of business processes and recommend IT solutions.Serve as a technical consultant or researcher to recommend new technologies and tools.Analyze detailed system requirements and documentation to develop efficient solutions.Collaborate with project teams to define tasks, sequence tasks, and estimate resources and timelines.Contribute to risk identification, issue management, and overall project planning.Coordinate with FDLE staff and stakeholders to support project and maintenance activities.Assist with preparing procurement documents, evaluating proposals, and participating in contract negotiations.Provide weekly status reports to project managers and FDLE supervisors.Support software development by creating test plans, debugging, and troubleshooting system issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst on successful enterprise-level IT projects.Strong experience in business analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements.Ability to troubleshoot system defects and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.Strong programming experience with:JBoss EAP 7.0 or higherJava 8.0 or higherJ2EE, JSP, EJB, JPA/Hibernate, JSF, PrimeFacesOracle 12c and higher, SQL, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JSONREST APIs, Web ServicesStrong communication skills, both written and oral.Preferred Skills:Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience with JOSSO, IMAP, Unix scripting, JIRA, Alfresco, Jasper Reports, Springboot, Angular.Familiarity with NEIM standards, SMTP, and integration with third-party software (e.g., geocode validation services).
