  • This position is with a prominent manufacturing company in the Metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Robot Programmer to join their team as soon as possible. This is a direct hire position and we are looking to interview ASAP!

  • Position Overview
    We are seeking a skilled Robot Programmer with extensive experience in FANUC robots to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on programming experience in industrial robotic systems, with a focus on FANUC, and a strong understanding of automation processes. This role is critical in ensuring that our robotic systems are implemented effectively and meet the technical needs of our clients.

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot FANUC robot programs for industrial automation applications.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement robotic systems that optimize production processes.
    • Conduct on-site installations, tests, and commissioning of FANUC robots.
    • Integrate robotic systems with PLCs, HMIs, and other automation equipment.
    • Perform diagnostics and corrective maintenance on robotic systems, including reprogramming and calibration.
    • Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand automation requirements and provide tailored solutions.
    • Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance personnel on robotic systems.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all robotic installations and operations.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Automation , or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
