Top National Law Firm is hiring two paralegals, one for Washington D.C. and one for San Francisco. These are hybrid positions, working in office 3 days/week and remote 2 days/week.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Litigation Paralegal experience (in any practice area), strong job tenure, and has their Bachelor's Degree.

Our company, a leading player in the Legal Industry seeks a dynamic and experienced Litigation Paralegal. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our legal team, assisting with complex litigation matters and supporting attorney's. This role offers a chance to work on high-profile cases and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

As a Litigation Paralegal you will:

  1. Assist in all aspects of litigation including case management, document review, and the preparation of pleadings and discovery responses.
  2. Conduct comprehensive legal research and E-Discovery and analysis to support case development and legal strategy.
  3. Attend depositions, hearings, and trials, providing critical support to attorneys.
  4. Liaise with expert witnesses, preparing them for depositions and trial.
  5. Proofread and check accuracy of quotes and citation formats.
  6. Summarize legal documents and compilations.
  7. Review local court rules and filing requirements and deadlines.
  8. Assist attorney's with depositions, trial, mediations, and arbitrations.
  9. Draft and submit FOIA requests to state and federal agencies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  2. Demonstrated experience with depositions, legal research, and other aspects of complex litigation.
  3. A bachelor's degree in a related field. A paralegal certificate from an accredited program is also required.
  4. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Excellent research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  7. Proficiency in legal research tools and software such as CasePoint or Relativity.
  8. A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and upholding the company's values.
