We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Civil Litigation Attorney to join our highly respected legal team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil litigation matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, with exposure to complex litigation issues and high-profile cases. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with partners, associates, and clients to deliver strategic solutions and drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all stages of civil litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, depositions, motions, trials, and appeals.
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to achieve optimal results for clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.
- Provide sound legal advice to clients, clearly communicating complex legal concepts and potential risks.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to case management.
- Participate in business development activities, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Stay informed of current legislation, court decisions, and industry trends that may impact clients and cases.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and comply with all professional conduct rules.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the State Bar of Pennsylvania, Admission in New Jersey is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven track record of success in the courtroom.
- Excellent litigation skills, including experience with trials, depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to client service and a passion for achieving positive outcomes for clients.
