Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Job Duration: Until December 2025 Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Preferred ERCP experience; board-eligible candidates must have their board exam scheduled within 12-18 months of confirmation. License: Must be board certified; acceptance of bids from providers with IMLC is not allowed. Certifications: - ABLS: Yes- ACLS: Yes- ATLS: Yes- BLS: Yes- PALS: Yes Must-Have: - Specialty skills in various gastroenterological procedures (see below for details) Job Description: - Provide gastroenterology services with a focus on internal medicine.- ERCP experience is preferred.- Two weeks on rotation per month, Monday through Friday.- Call rotation: one week per month (weekdays and weekends).- Work includes GI lab days (18-20 procedures per day) and clinic days (18-20 visits per day).- Full clinic support from APP, RN, and MA, along with APP inpatient support.- 3 GI lab days and regular clinic days with substantial patient encounters.- Specialty skills required in the following areas: - Upper and lower GI endoscopy (including biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery, laser, varices injection) - Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy - PEG procedures - Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation - Small bowel biopsy - Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid) - Colonoscopy (including polyp excision) - Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) - Liver biopsy - Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days.
