Public Works Maintenance Person
Duties will include but are not limited to:• Operation, maintenance, and repairs of city water and wastewater systems• Street maintenance and repair• Snow removal• Parks maintenance• Operation, maintenance, and repair of city vehicles and heavy equipment• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:• Must have or be able to obtain a Class 1 water distribution license and a Class 1wastewater collections operator license• Must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL license• Must be able to be on-call (on-call schedules will vary)• Must reside within 15 minutes of Ucon for emergencies• Successful candidate will be subject a background check and drug testing
Wage & Benefits• Starting wage is dependent upon experience and licensing• Raises will be given once licenses have been obtained• Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) retirement• Vacation/Holiday/Sick leave• City pays 70% of Health/Dental/Vision insurance premiums for employee and family
