Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM-07:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week plus on-call for nights, weekends, and holidays Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RT(R) Certifications: ARRT Certification, BLS Must-Have: 2 years of Neuro Interventional Radiology experience (Stroke and Complex Neuro Interventions) Job Description: - Work as an Interventional Radiology Technician specializing in Neuro Interventional procedures. - Provide technical support for procedures in the IR-Neuro Lab. - Respond to call within a 30-minute timeframe. - Function as part of a multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. - Assist in the management of stroke and complex neuro interventions. - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for optimal patient care. - Maintain accurate documentation and records related to procedures. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation safety standards in all procedures. - Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
