Tool & Die Maker Job description:About us:We are a contract manufacturer of metal stampings, wire forms, and welded assemblies that has been in business for over 90 years.Job Summary:- Repair existing, and build new fixtures, jigs, dies or gages. Must be able totroubleshoot tooling while working in conjunction in a team environmentPosition includes but not limited to:- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finishedproducts- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines,and grinders- Build, repair, and maintain tooling and dies for production processes- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tooling- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve processesand designs- Previous machine shop/job shop experience is requiredRequired Skills/Abilities:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Technical degree or certification preferred- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- 3+ years of experience working in a tool fabrication environment as a tool maker- Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings- Able to work independently and with other machinists and engineers- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers,calipers, and gauges- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Machining and working with mills, lathes, grinders, polishers, sanders, and working with a variety of hand tools is requiredBenefits:- Competitive wages- 10 Paid Holidays and Vacation- Health Insurance- 401KJob Type: Full-time and onsiteShift: 1st shift 7:00AM to 3:30PMSalary: $28.25 - $33.50 per hour**Pay Details:** $58,240.00 to $69,680.00 per yearEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacyThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:+ The California Fair Chance Act+ Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance+ Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers+ San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
