GMC-Warner Robins has an opening for a full-time Student Support Assistant. The Student Support Assistant (SSA) is responsible for supporting the Student Support Coach(es) in both academic and student account processes. The SSA will review applications and transcripts, provide information to students and prepare student accounts for admittance. This position will be the point of contact for financial aid services with the support of the Resource Management Office. This position will process weekly financial aid reports, daily Blackboard help tickets, quarterly course prerequisite reports, and quarterly student planner reports. Lastly, the position will help manage applications for degree & provide support for annual graduation ceremonies.
Primary Responsibilities:Reports; -Pull weekly & quarterly reports to distribute to the graduation coaches in order to support current students. Add comments and notes to reports on a daily basis.Export applications, data entry, provides details to Enrollment Coach regarding new students' progress towards registration using various reports that are updated daily.Financial Aid Tasks; -Monitor student progress and alert the Grad Coach when there are students of concern, weekly refund report, weekly pending aid report, and state aid report, etc.Graduation; Process degree applications from the graduation coaches and maintain accurate graduation participant list.Other duties as assigned*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Qualifications
Minimum Required:
High school diplomaOne (1) or more years in direct customer service and salescustomer service, strong written and verbal skills, excellent phone communication, organization, intermediate computingPreferred:
Associate's degreeExperience in customer service and sales through a phone call centerExperience working with CRM technology
