Sr. Visual Designer, Industrial Energy Products

You will be a key member of Tesla's Industrial Energy growth and content team leading all designs for visual brand communications. This role will require your considerable design experience and innovative thinking across multiple design tasks (photography, illustration, etc.).This is a multi-faceted role where knowledge working experience in the energy industry is highly desired but not mandatory. The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized with attention to detail, a great communicator and can turn challenges into growth opportunities. They should have a proven ability to lead and motivate teams with both direct and indirect reporting relationships.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design assets for marketing, sales, events, communications, web, and anything else that needs graphic design work to communicate Tesla's visual style in a creative way.Work cross-functionally with marketing managers, product managers, and sales teams to understand project goals and translate them into compelling visual content.When necessary, work with suppliers and internal teams to achieve design goals on physical assets.Maintain and elevate the visual identity and brand standards across all existing marketing materials.Occasionally participate in design efforts outside of your area of expertise.

RequirementsDegree in Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.3+ years of demonstrated experience in graphic design.A portfolio of work that reflects and demonstrates your creative thinking, broad range, and modern, minimalist taste.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, etc.), and either Sketch or Figma.Excellence in creating and maintaining cross-functional working relationships and exceptional visual and oral communication skills.Technical knowledge of product development as it relates to graphic design (such as printing, web and mobile app development, formatting, etc.).Self-motivated and able to manage multiple parallel-path projects and a demonstrated ability to deliver successful designs under tight timing constraints.Experience in some combination of 3D modeling, visualization, motion graphics, animation, and/or illustration is preferred but not required.Experience in creating visuals for the energy or technology sector is also preferred but not required.
