Infrastructure Operations Lead

To acquire the advantage, we seek an experienced Infrastructure Operations Lead Engineer to manage a team of Windows Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, and Database Administrators responsible for the day-to-day operations of our DevSecOps environment. As the Infrastructure Lead, you will prioritize and assign work, provide technical expertise to subordinates, and work closely with leadership at Defense Media Activity (DMA) to support a component of DMA called WEB.mil (Web enterprise business), which hosts the Public Websites for the DoD and branches of the military.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead a team of Windows Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, and Database Administrators responsible for the day-to-day operations of our DevSecOps environmentPrioritize and assign work through Jira/Confluence, ensuring that team members are working on the most important tasks firstProvide technical expertise to subordinates, guide them through complex technical issues, and provide mentorship to help them grow in their careersImplement and maintain security controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Automate operational tasks and processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effortMonitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues promptlyCollaborate with other teams, including development, security, service desk, and QA, to ensure the seamless functioning of the DevSecOps environmentWork closely with leadership at DMA to ensure that our DevSecOps environment aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectivesContinuously improve the DevSecOps environment, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing solutions to address themRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in operations management in a DevSecOps environmentIAT Level II or higher certification (Security+) or obtain within 3 monthsStrong knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, agile, and automationExperience managing and leading a team of Systems EngineersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsExperience working with Jira/Confluence or similar toolsExperience with Windows Server, VMware, and version control systems such as GitHub or GitLabExperience with CI/CD tools, including but not limited to Jenkins and GitHubExperience with AWS architecture and designPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with the Department of Defense or other government agenciesExperience with PowerShell scriptingKnowledge of Linux operating systemsExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and ELK StackClearance:
