Our client continues to expand their E&S footprint and is seeking to add (2) Senior E&S Casualty Underwriters to join their team. This position will focus on the underwriting of primary casualty risks exclusively through wholesale agents and brokers. This role will require a strategic approach to risk selection, pricing, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the excess & surplus (E&S) market, excellent relationship-building skills with wholesale partners, and a demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth.

Underwrite and price new and renewal business in accordance with company underwriting guidelines for Primary Casualty risks.Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale agents and brokers to identify opportunities for new business and retention of existing accounts.Evaluate and assess risk exposures, ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with brokers to achieve profitable results and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.Collaborate with internal teams including Claims, Loss Control, and Actuarial to ensure proper risk management.Monitor portfolio performance and adjust underwriting strategy to maintain profitability and growth objectives.Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that may impact the underwriting strategy.Attend industry events and meetings with wholesale agents and brokers to promote the company's products and build relationships.Qualifications:

5 - 10+ of underwriting experience in Primary Casualty, with a focus on working with wholesale agents and brokers.Strong understanding of the E&S market and the unique needs of wholesale distribution channels.Proven ability to negotiate and manage broker relationships.Analytical mindset with experience in assessing risks, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring portfolio profitability.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Bachelor's degree in a related field (Risk Management, Business, etc.); CPCU, AU, or other insurance designations are preferred.Benefits:
