PA/NP - General Neurology - Hastings/Zeeland, MI

Corewell Health General Neurology offers an excellent full-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider.As an important member of the General Neurology multidisciplinary team, you would be diagnosing and treating medically complex patients. The ideal candidate would be passionate about this patient population+ Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care indicated by the patients response to treatment, and evaluate patients+ Arranges for ordered diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic services. Arranges for physician consultation/referral appointments.+ Calls medication refills or new scripts into the required pharmacy under the direction of the providers policy.+ Collaborates with the physician in order to plan and coordinate patient care.+ Perform complete screening exams and routine exams in order to determine a baseline, reflect the nature of the patient visit, diagnose.+ Position will be split between our Hastings office and our Zeeland office.Qualifications:Nurse Practitioner:+ Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a masters, post-masters or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission+ 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience+ Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner+ LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan+ CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)+ CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)+ CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)Physician Assistant:+ Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program+ LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan+ CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants+ CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)+ CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)+ CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Corewell Health Zeeland Hospitalof Newsweeks Best Maternity Care Hospitals, designated B aby -F riendly USA Hospital, and it has earned an A from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog that sets standards for excellence in patient care .
