Follow us on LinkedIn.ROLE SUMMARYSanitation/Vendor Technician is responsible for maintaining vendor oversight as well as general facility maintenance and sanitation of all cultivation areas. Sanitation consists of washing, cleaning, sanitizing, drying, sweeping, and mopping.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo supervisory responsibilities are assigned to this position.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position operates in cultivation and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses cultivation processing equipment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.The company will ask you to help out in other departments depending on company needs. This means that you may not always work in the department that you were hired, teamwork and getting product out to patients is the goal and this means helping out where you are needed is crucial to your success as well as the companys success.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to individually lift up to 25 lbs. Required SkillsProvide oversight of vendors while on site, ensuring tasks are completed as directed.Proactively communicates with Maintenance Manager on time sensitive issues.Ability to build good relationships with vendors while on site, in a fast-paced environment.Executes washing, cleaning and sanitizing tasks/duties and assignments in a timely and accurate manner.Sustains clean and tidy workspaces and displays a high standard of cleanliness.Clean & sanitize plant common spaces and tools.Mop up spills, leaks, and other occupational hazards.Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.Assure all cannabis products are free from contamination risks.Responsible for sanitation of equipment and maintenance of plant trays and irrigation system.Employ professional and clear communication practices to maintain a positive and progressive team atmosphere.Ensure that refuse and waste products are managed and destroyed as per the current approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all cultivation activities during medical cannabis processing, at all times, to result consistent quality cannabis products.May be required to cover plant janitorial duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent2+ years janitorial experienceCommunicate clearly, proactively, and concisely with Maintenance ManagerAbility to follow directions and established proceduresMaintains stable performance under pressureMust have reliable transportation and a valid drivers licenseDemonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work. Work effectively with minimal supervisionExcellent critical thinking and analytical skillsMust have entrepreneurial skills and experienceMust possess an inquisitive and creative mindTeamwork- collaborating with others to improve overall standards of work and serviceHigh school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalentPer state law, must be at least 21 years of age.Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check.Must pass a drug screening.
