DescriptionWe are looking for a Sr. Mgr., Product Manager Tech to lead the product vision and strategy for the Publisher Experience team. As the leader in this space, you will navigate complex tradeoffs across multiple stakeholders (internal and external), and create a product strategy that helps publishers from around the world sell their books with Amazon. You will provide leadership on complex product issues and be responsible for high-judgment decisions.A successful candidate is expected to be a strategic leader with strong product and technical knowledge and will help to grow, develop, and lead a passionate and talented team. You will work closely with senior leaders, influence our long-term strategy, help us hire and grow talent, and ultimately increase Amazon's ability to innovate rapidly.Key job responsibilitiesOwn the product strategy, roadmap, and requirements to shape and invent our product offering.Lead a product team comprised of product managers and technical program managers to build the future of content and media management.Partner closely with engineering leaders to foster a collaborative, empowered culture.Establish a shared vision across the organization by engaging with stakeholders and ensuring the roadmap meets customer and business needs.Create buy-in for the product vision, both internally and with key external partners.Own the strategy and stakeholder partnership to drive adoption of our products.Own the communication with leadership and WW Books partner teams.Attract, build, manage, and develop talent to create an inclusive team of product managers and technical program managers.About The TeamThe Publisher Experience team defines and drives Reporting and Analytics for Publishers, enabling them to grow their business. They partner with teams across Books to launch and grow publisher-facing services, identify opportunities to use data to help grow the business.Basic Qualifications6+ years of team management experience.Bachelor's degree.Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.Preferred QualificationsExperience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
