Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a

President – Power Delivery Business Segment

for our Fortune 1000 infrastructure and EPC client based in Texas. This is a senior executive role, and preference is for the role to be based out of the Houston, Dallas or Fort Worth corporate office locations with 50% domestic travel as required. Relocation assistance is available if necessary.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in a technical field and minimum 15+ years of professional experience in the infrastructure / EPC / T&D sectors required

Senior executive level experience within a minimum $500M revenue business segment with a large employee base focused on electric utility related clients in North America

Strong business and leadership skills including P&L management, HR/people development, senior level business development, HSEQ and operational excellence and execution

ROLE OVERVIEW:The President is the most senior executive within the Power Delivery Business Segment. He or she will provide leadership and a culture that consistently upholds company expectations and will lead and communicate with other members of Senior Management including the Corporate C-Suite. He or she will ensure the company’s reputation is protected and valued by delivering operational excellence and superior execution to the customer. The President is accountable for all operational aspects of the business across the Segment, including financial results (P&L), Business Development, HSEQ, strategic planning, contract acquisition and customer relations, quality execution, talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.

The President will be both the strategic and operational leader and will communicate and accomplish consistent growth for the company. He or she will lead the business development plan and capture strategy that proves successful in winning business from the customer base. He or she will also ensure the business achieves its business plan and financial metrics outlined in the planning process and will work with all functional and operational leaders to achieve the best results for the business.

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of the construction/EPC industry and operations is required, as well as extensive knowledge of financial operations, commercial management, and project management.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by professional career success.

Sustained financial performance and growth, advanced knowledge of the construction/EPC industry and operations required, as well as extensive knowledge of financial operations, sales and marketing, and employee relations.

Ability to work with cross-functional organizations and pull together data that create a competitive edge for the operation.

Advanced knowledge and experience in estimating, bid preparation and proposals.

Advanced knowledge and experience working with contracts, subcontracts, risk management or contractual terms.

Advanced knowledge and experience in project controls, compliance and business ethics.

Proven client contacts within the electric utility and related sectors.

Experienced in negotiating construction and engineering EPC contracts.

Prior experience leading multi-discipline teams.
