JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting management in the organization of essential warehousing, shipping, and receiving duties.Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Internal Material Control

•Provides necessary document(s) to forklift operators for order picks/staging/loading/unloading/storing of product and materials

•Processes paperwork (i.e. loading documents, etc.) and verifies accuracy of information

•Enters data in computer (i.e., BPCS, excel, etc.)

•Creates shipping BOLs

•Sends/receives email related to status of shipping/receiving of product/materials

•Troubleshoots issues related to shipping/receiving of product/materials

•Documents all movement of product/materials (i.e., shuttle drivers, daily reports, Lot Check Report, etc.)

Maintenance of Office

•Files paperwork

•Answers phone/radio

•Orders/reorders necessary supplies (shuttle transfers, seals)

•Copies paperwork when needed

•Runs reports as needed

Dock Management

•Checks in drivers arriving for pick-up/delivery

•Assigns dock door(s) for incoming product

•Assigns dock(s) for outgoing activity

Other

•Responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate action for specified Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements

•Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

•High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

•1 year clerical experience

•Knowledge of inventory control beneficial, but not required

•Computer proficient, Windows, BPCS
