Job Description:
Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Sr. Desktop Technician to add to their growing team located on the north side of Indianapolis. Our client is seeking an individual to provide technical support for a wide range of desktop/laptop hardware and software issues. You will work closely with other IT team members and assist in the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and software. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and effectively communicating technical solutions to non-technical users.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop and laptop hardware and software issues, including installation, configuration, and troubleshootingAssist in the deployment and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and softwarePerform in-depth troubleshooting and problem resolution, including root cause analysis, to identify and resolve complex technical issuesWork closely with other IT team members to resolve technical issues and improve processesProvide excellent customer service and effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical usersParticipate in the development and implementation of technical policies, procedures, and best practicesParticipate in the development and maintenance of technical documentationStay up to date with new technologies and industry trendsRequirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field4+ years of experience in desktop support or a related fieldStrong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and applicationsExperience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshootingExperience with network and infrastructure supportExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
