Encompass Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Director to join our Executive Leadership team. This permanent role is based in Dorchester with hybrid working options.
As People and Culture Director, you will lead our People and Culture Strategy, focusing on HR, Health and Safety, Recruitment, and our PR team. This role will involve significant employee engagement while overseeing each department's individual needs. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders and drive a positive organisational culture aligned with our strategic goals.

About You:
Proven senior HR leadership experience, ideally in a charity or social care setting.
Strong track record in HR strategy, employee relations, and change management.
Knowledge of employment law, EDI, and health and safety practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies that support our mission.
Lead recruitment, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
Oversee Public Relations and manage the charity's reputation.
Ensure compliance with employment law and health and safety standards.
Develop and implement the organisations wellbeing strategy.
