Enterprise Architect, Information Architecture
who can play an instrumental role in driving our data-driven business transformation strategy by aligning the information architecture with business goals and objectives. This includes ensuring 1.) the organization’s master data is consistently defined, structured, and integrated across all systems, 2.) the enterprise data warehouse provides accurate, timely, and accessible data for business intelligence reporting, and 3.) the data architecture and data science toolkits enable predictive, prescriptive, machine learning (ML), and AI-driven insights.What you will do:Analyze business context, industry trends, and strategic objectives to make informed recommendations on how to evolve the information architecture in response to changing business needs and technological advancements.Define and implement data architecture strategies, guiding principles, and design standards that treat data like an asset. Your work will align with KDP’s enterprise data strategy which promotes leverage and reuse of scalable, product-centric data solutions.Facilitate business and technical discussions to ensure that the information architecture bridges the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. Promote alignment of which capabilities to invest and maintain rolling 3-year capability roadmaps.Lead and facilitate the evaluation and selection of information technologies, develop and provide guidance around enterprise architecture guiding principles and best practice design patterns, and ensure solution designs align with the target IT architecture.Define and materialize the target architecture, conceptual data models, implementation style, and integration approach for the enterprise master data management solution. Collaborate with data governance teams to establish policies, procedures, quality, and ownership around master data management.Define and materialize the target architecture for KDP’s Strategic Insight Platform which contains the single version of truth of data from internal/external sources, scalable & reusable data products with curated insights to deliver value across multiple business domains, and the analytic tools and reusable models to generate actionable insights.Promote a culture of citizen data ownership and accountability, encouraging all KDP employees to take an active role in the responsible creation, consumption, and management of data. This mindset shift will support KDP’s goals for data reusability and enterprise-wide analytics.Who you are:Deep knowledge of various System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies like SAFe, Agile, and DevOps to align with KDP’s evolving business needs.Deep knowledge of the modern data architecture including cloud-native & hybrid infrastructure, data lakes & data warehouse, real-time data processing & streaming, data virtualization & data fabric, API-driven & microservices architecture, AI/ML integration, and data democratization & self-service analytics.Expert skills in reviewing, analyzing and depicting the enterprise data environments, how they interrelate, and communicating the intended usage and purpose across the organization.Proficiency in database design, modeling, and creating simple visual diagrams to create clear and actionable data flow models that empower KDP teams to better understand and utilize data in daily operations.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring that all data initiatives align with KDP’s larger enterprise goals.Demonstrated ability to translate business capabilities into architectural requirements, ensuring that data architecture supports both current and future business needs.Experience mentoring and developing team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing across teams to build data literacy and architectural expertise.
