AVP, PMO (Hybrid)

Location: Hartford, ConnecticutJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $150,000 - 175,000 per yearOur client, a leading organization in the financial services and insurance industry, is excited to hire an AVP, Marketing Operations to help build out their centralized Project Management Organization (PMO). This is a newly created role within their Enterprise Integrated Marketing (EIM) team, offering competitive salary and benefits. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing project management best practices and methodologies while leading a team of marketing operations project managers.Qualified candidates must have experience in a leadership role within an enterprise PMO and experience with Adobe Workfront is also a requirement. 10+ years of Project Management experience with a minimum of 5 years in management is preferred. This is a full-time/direct-hire role with competitive salary & benefits.  Responsibilities:Develop and implement project management best practices, standards, and methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery within the EIM.Lead and mentor a team of project and traffic managers, providing guidance and professional development to enhance their performance.Collaborate with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams (Planning, Marketing Strategy, Content, Creative, Digital) to align project management processes with the broader marketing strategy.Manage high-level prioritization, resourcing, and capacity planning across EIM.Establish and maintain a project portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic importance, ROI, and available resources.Oversee execution of complex, high-impact marketing projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery.Drive a culture of continuous improvement, regularly assessing and optimizing PMO processes.Provide regular project status updates and reports to leadership, communicating progress, challenges, and successes.Promote the adoption of work management tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront) to improve team productivity and visibility.Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate best practices into the PMO.Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on project and program management.Define KPIs to measure project performance and ensure adherence to project management standards.Ensure Workfront is configured correctly, streamlining workflows and optimizing reporting functionality.Qualifications:Experience level: DirectorHigh School diploma or equivalent.5+ years of project management experience.3+ years of experience managing others.​​​​​​​Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in a related field.10+ years of project management experience, ideally within an external advertising agency or internal marketing agency.5+ years of experience managing a team.Expertise in marketing operations and experience working with Workfront.Strong vendor relationship management experience.Proven ability to introduce and coach on new project management techniques.Experience recovering at-risk projects through rescoping or corrective actions. #LI-CELLA#LI-KD1#PLJOBID: 1068319Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
