Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,994 per week

Certification Details Must hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and CA License Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced L/D nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and CA License. Job Requirements Must have 2 full years of experience in L/D Hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and CA License C-section experience required: must have experience with circulating, scrubbing preferred Must have 4 years experience or more in L&D Must also have experience with high risk deliveries and be familiar with pitocin, mag sulfate, insulin drips, etc. Travel experience is preferred Schedule Information Contract length: 13 weeks Shifts: 12 hrs 7-7 Weekend Requirement: Every other Call Requirement: Call is required - what is required varies, 30 min response time Holidays: one major and one minor Floor specific orientation: 3 shifts on unit Unit Specific Information Unit: L&D/PP - Perinatal L&D Beds: 11 beds triage beds: 8 beds Certs: NRP, BLS, ACLS, Fetal monitoring (advanced) all required FHM System: Fetal Link EMR: Cerner Floating: L&D floats to antepartum Additional Details Unit: L&D/PP - Perinatal L&D Beds: 11 beds triage beds: 8 beds births per day, per year: 3300 per year Ratios: they follow AWOHNN guidelines FHM System: Fetal Link EMR: Cerner OB/Neonataologist in house: OB attending 24 hrs IV Team: No RT 24/7: Yes Pharmacy 24/7: Yes Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 20 weeks and above, high risk - blood pressure, multiples, diabetes, no prenatal care, Substance abuse, etc. 13th Largest center for births in California Additional Notes: EOW First to Float
