**Must-Have:**- Advanced skills with Cardiac knowledge- Experience with Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips

**Job Description:**

- Unit consists of 30 beds with a patient ratio of 5-6:1.- Staffing includes a unit clerk during the day, and 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) day and night.- Use of Welch Allyn vitals neuron, Novameter glucose, Philips Telemetry, and MP2s.- Documentation system used is the Meditech version.- Medication management includes WOW with med drawers and PyxisES dispensing system.- Scheduling requires working equivalent of every other weekend.- Floating may be required to other Medical-Surgical areas depending on skill mix.- Patient experience is enhanced through bedside rounding and hourly rounding with 5Ps checked.- Collaborate with PCTs to report known needs at the beginning and during shifts.- Engage with departmental focus areas through information provided on the glass board and scrolling video kiosk.- Dress code requires RN- Navy attire; CNA/PCT-ceil blue scrub set and jacket optional. Permissible t-shirt colors are white, blue, grey, or black without graphics.- No artificial or gel nails or gel nail polish allowed.- Document telemetry application, rhythm strips, and place in chart each shift.- NO PASS ZONE implemented for bed alarms, call lights, and IV alarms.- Charge Nurses with extensive years of seniority provide leadership support.- Shared Governance available per units and facility.
