Salary: $160,000 - $210,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated M&A Senior Tax Manager to join our fast-paced and growing Public Accounting Firm. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in our company's growth and success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related aspects of our mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities. You will be expected to provide strategic tax planning and advice to senior management, ensuring that all tax obligations are met, and that all M&A activities are compliant with local, state, and federal tax laws. This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of tax law and M&A activities.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the tax due diligence process for all M&A activities.
- Advising on tax implications of M&A deals, including structuring and financing.
- Overseeing the preparation of tax forecasts and projections related to M&A activities.
- Coordinating with external tax advisors to ensure all tax-related M&A activities are compliant with local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize M&A transactions.
- Providing tax support to other departments involved in M&A activities.
- Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact M&A activities.
- Collaborating with the senior management team to provide strategic tax planning and advice.
Job requirements
We are seeking an individual who is curious, self-motivated, and a team player with the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline
10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with 5+ years in managerial role preferred
CPA certified and active license
Expertise in management of C-Corporation income tax compliance and providing knowledgeable review of complex C-Corp preparation and review
Background and experience managing and actively providing advisory and tax solutions to clients
Provides solutions and ideas
