Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

Our client is a respected architecture design firm out of Des Moines with decades of experience taking projects from design to development and their portfolio is quite diversified including healthcare, higher education, K-12, office spaces, public works, multifamily and more. Additionally, they take great care of their people and therefore have a well above average tenure and plenty of room for career development.

Responsibilities:

Mentor, provide direction and leadership to individual design team members

Demonstrate expertise exploring and integrating sustainable design strategies

Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy

Provide design and sustainability guidance to Owner and internal team

Be a key participant in leading our market sectors

Excel in verbal and digital communication

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in an architecture design firm

Architectural License is required

Demonstrate passion for design thinking

Outstanding graphic presentation and verbal presentation skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management and mentoring skills

Demonstrate knowledge of 3D modeling and documentation tools including Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Suite

General knowledge of the total project process including team management, schedule, and budget

Ideal candidate has experience in the following markets: Higher Education, K-12, and/ or Healthcare
