Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

As a Consulting Construction Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in our commercial, retail, and school construction projects, working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive project success. This is a role for a dynamic and driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about construction and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including ground up construction and K-12 construction.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project budgets, conduct cost control analysis, and identify and implement cost-saving measures.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are carried out according to plan and regulations.
• Review work progress on a daily basis and resolve any emerging issues or delays.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication at all stages of the project.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the company and client standards.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and ensure they are followed throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, retail, and school construction.
• Proven experience in ground up construction and K-12 construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expertise in project management, construction management, contract management, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and human resources management skills.
• Proficient in construction project management software.
• Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
