Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including ground up construction and K-12 construction.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, conduct cost control analysis, and identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are carried out according to plan and regulations.
  • Review work progress on a daily basis and resolve any emerging issues or delays.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication at all stages of the project.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the company and client standards.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and ensure they are followed throughout the project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, retail, and school construction.
  • Proven experience in ground up construction and K-12 construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Expertise in project management, construction management, contract management, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and human resources management skills.
  • Proficient in construction project management software.
  • Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
