**Certifications:** Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
**Must-Have:** ACLS, BLS, ICU Experience
**Job Description:**
- Work in a critical care unit with 12 beds and a staff of 32.- Collaborate with a team including Day Shift Director, Manager, Clinical Coordinator, RNs, Externs, and Paramedics during the day, and RNs and Externs during night shifts.- Manage patient ratios of 2:1, 3:1, or 1:1, depending on the case.- Operate specialized equipment such as Tablo, IABP, Impella, Brain Cool, Swan Ganz, BIS, Vigilance, Baxter, Hemosphere, and Pyxis.- Utilize Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.- Perform typical procedures such as Transvenous Pacing (TVP), Transcutaneous Pacing (TCP), post catheterization care, sheath removal, bedside tracheostomies, and Sustained Low Efficiency Dialysis (SLED).- Work with a team-focused approach to patient care.- Work every other weekend with no on-call duties.- Follow guidelines for dressing in navy blue scrubs.- Be flexible to float throughout the facility as needed.
