Location: San Francisco, CaliforniaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $70 - 75 per hourWe are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure AV Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in San Francisco!This role requires an expert in AV system design, troubleshooting, and implementation for corporate environments. You will be responsible for owning and maintaining AV infrastructure, supporting presentation spaces, and driving technology innovations in a fast-paced, global environment. Responsibilities:Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve global system and infrastructure issues for Tier 3 support, including remote troubleshooting via VPN.Take end-to-end ownership for the design, build, commissioning, and maintenance of AV systems for 30-100 person presentation spaces.Research and perform proof-of-concept testing for new technologies in active systems or lab environments.Champion cross-functional projects through the IT department’s engineering process, ensuring security and network risk assessments with new AV infrastructure designs.Create, document, and update system runbooks, process documents, and event/project debriefs.Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and product manufacturers for onsite installs, repairs, equipment sourcing, and the testing of new products and software features.Collaborate with internal teams, including IT security and network teams, to assess risks in AV infrastructure designs.Lead by example, mentoring junior staff and contractors while ensuring compliance with standard operating processes.Communicate effectively within the AV and broader IT teams, ensuring seamless project execution and support.Qualifications:Experience level: ManagerEducation: Bachelors10+ years of experience in corporate AV system design and implementation.Proficiency with AV control systems and UIs, including Qsys and Crestron.Working knowledge of digital signal processing systems (QSC, Biamp, Yamaha, etc.).Expertise in Dante networked audio routing and configuration.Experience with Zoom video conferencing and Zoom room codecs.Strong comprehension of AV schematics and IP networking design/troubleshooting.Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage risk factors across complex systems and identify appropriate mitigation strategies.Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of AV projects.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to gather and communicate technical information clearly.Strong interpersonal skills and experience managing AV integrators.Avixa (Infocomm) or NAB/SMPTE certifications (e.g., Avixa CTS-D).Experience with IP video (NDI, QLAN, SMPTE).Experience with drafting/CAD.QSC or Crestron programming certifications.Dante certification.Experience working in a corporate IT department.Familiarity with Jira or similar project tracking software.Hands-on experience with rack installation.Experience with broadcast AV systems (video cameras, video switchers, digital audio mixing consoles, and SDI/IP backbone infrastructures). JOBID: 1066287#LI-CELLA#LI-SS1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
