Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Within service line
Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) No
Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No, home address must be at least 75 miles from facility
Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned
Special Requirements: clinical nursing, PT, OT in home
Point Of Care visits: wound care, wound vac, post ortho/joint, incision assessment follow up, post surgical assessment/complications, post stroke, pneumonia; patient education meds, wound care; trach care, teaching; GTubes feedings, teaching; ADLs assessment
need ortho experience
position involves weekends, holidays and call. Required skills; previous home care experience, strong critical thinking skills, assessment skills, communications skills, case management skills and Team collaboration. Knowledge, organizational skills, efficiency, time management skills and flexibility.
Do clinicians typically work at the same homes? Yes, clinicians are assigned to a POD which consists of a group of zip codes and a multidisciplinary Team to manage the patients, however if needed they will assist in other PODs to provide patient care.
What is the mile radius that clinicians are expected to cover? It varies, but the range is roughly 40 - 80 miles starting with the first patient and ending with the last patient.
