Strong Experience in doing Data Modeling and design with Cassandra as the Database.Strong experience in doing design and development on distributed message queues like Kafka.Good understanding of micro-services architecture patterns and experience in building scalable solutions.Do Assessment of current state data maturity of an enterprise and define the future roadmap.Lead large data strategy and Next Gen Data Platform implementation engagements during the initial definition phase and lead it to a steady state.Solution, Technology, Deployment Architecture definition for Next Generation Data Platforms & Data Lakes.Participate in discussions with C-Level executives and articulate Our Client's capabilities, differentiators, solution approaches etc.Drive PoCs and PoTs in the Data & Analytics space which can be presented as accelerators & frameworks.Define Assessment, Migration Strategy for movement of on-Premise Data Platforms to Cloud.

Responsibilities:

Will be part of a critical consulting engagements for a financial services customer and play the role of a Data Architect.

Will be working on customer engagements and will be responsible for delivering scope identified and assigned as part of the engagements.•Understand the functional and non-functional requirements from the customer and create Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, Deployment Architecture artifacts.•Understand the consumption patterns, scalability requirements and tailor the solutions to meet those requirements.•Establish best practices and guiding principles for the implementation team for Data models and also Kafka topic designs.•Define guiding principles for the API development team on how interactions needs to happen with Kafka and Cassandra.•Do performance improvements and identify bottlenecks in the overall implementation.

Qualifications:

•Master's degree in quantitative areas like Computer Science or related.
