**Job Title: Welder****Job Description**Located in Wisconsin, this manufacturer of stainless food processing equipment operates multiple locations in Illinois and globally. This facility houses design, R&D, manufacturing, production, and maintenance. The role involves TIG welding on sheet metal and MIG welding on stainless and carbon, along with layout, fabrication, and assembly duties. Candidates will work with a variety of products in low volumes, ranging from inches to 15-foot parts, all based on prints. This is not a production-based welding role.**Hard Skills**+ 2 years of TIG and MIG welding experience+ Ability to TIG weld on sheet metal between 16g and 7g+ Experience with MIG welding on stainless and carbon materials+ Proficiency in working off of prints**Soft Skills**+ Attention to detail+ Ability to work independently+ Flexibility to adapt to different tasks**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in WHITEWATER, Wisconsin.**Work Environment**The shop is clean and houses roughly 100 people. The first shift runs from 6:30 am to 3 pm, often extending to 5:30 am to 3 pm with occasional mandatory weekends. The second shift operates from 3 pm to 1 am, Monday to Thursday, with some optional Friday hours. MIG welders earn $28.65 per hour, with a $1.25 shift differential for the second shift.
