The IT Security Intern opportunity, emphasizing the involvement in cutting-edge projects related to energy storage technology and renewable energy sources. The responsibilities will be creating content and documentation, managing work products independently, collaborating with project managers, assisting IT staff in security-related projects, and contributing to compliance initiatives promoting security and privacy practices within the organization.
Job Duties:
Create content and documentation for technical and non-technical usersWork on projects to promote security and privacy practices and awareness across the organizationManage work products independently and work with project Managers to plan and monitor deliverablesParticipate in project team meetings and meet deadlines with support of technical leadsParticipate in compliance initiatives with IT and Powin's business unitsAssist IT staff in projects and support activities where security guidance is neededQualifications:
Currently working towards an IT, Operations and Technology Management or Computer Science degreeAbility to effectively multi-task and manage time in a dynamic environmentFamiliarity with security audits and processes a plusFamiliarity with system, network and/or application security topics and practicesDemonstrated ability to communicate professionally verbally and in writing, including technical documentationAbility to demonstrate sound judgment and work independentlyKnowledge of security standards and tools is a plusExperience working in MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel required, and experience in Confluence and Jira is a plusWhat We Offer:
