Are you looking to collaborate with and learn from obesity medicine physicians, psychologists, dieticians, nurses, and bariatric surgeons to provide state-of-the-art and innovative quality care to patients struggling with obesity? Then we have an exciting role for you!
Dartmouth-Health's Department of Psychiatry seeks to hire a psychologist to join the Center for Digestive Health Behavioral Medicine team as an embedded psychologist at the Weight and Wellness Center at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic located in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role offers you an opportunity to collaborate with a local multidisciplinary team while also being part of Dartmouth’s growing Behavioral Medicine for Digestive Health program. The position offers a flexible schedule, a mixture of telemedicine and in-person work, and possible opportunities to teach and/or collaborate on research.
Responsibilities include:
a) developing and providing expert services for patients struggling with obesity and the psychosocial sequela of obesity
b) leading groups offered to patients across the region by the Center for Digestive Health Behavioral Medicine Team
c) conducting pre and post bariatric surgery psychological evaluations,
d) participating in multidisciplinary team-based care, and
e) collaborating with other psychologists and psychology trainees in the Center for Digestive Health’s Behavioral Medicine Program.

Qualifications
Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
Completion of a predoctoral internship from an APA- or CPA-accredited internship program.
Experience in obesity medicine and/or bariatric psychology.
Required Licensure/Certifications
Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the state of NH.
