This position reports to

Procurement & Logistics Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Manage data entry recording and analyze all outbound shipments on internal database Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, and shelves by hand. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Serve as point of contact for daily logistic operations and outbound shipments to distributor partners Responsible for scheduling outbound transportation needs, including but not limited to LTL truckload, Intermodal, air, and small parcel (both domestic and international) Collaborate and serve as liaison between Customer Service, distributor customers, Sales Representatives, Shipping departments and third-party carrier This is a Monday-Thursday 10-hour shift position with overtime determined by customer demands.

Qualifications for the role

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum of one-year experience in similar fieldMust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyBasic keyboarding and 10-key ability requiredProficient skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to learn, understand and follow company requirements for employee safety, product quality and productivity.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to read, comprehend and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions.Ability to solve problems in a standardized situation with some variables.Ability to work in a high noise environment that requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting or pushing weights up to 50 pounds, with long periods of sitting to perform data entry.Flexible in terms of shift scheduling, including scheduling for weekends, overtime and holiday shifts.Have a strong commitment and ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures and utilize all required safety equipment.Detail oriented with good analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).Knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing softwareExperienced in ERP / SAP systemsAbility to use company mainframe computer systems(s).Ability to run weight counting scales.Ability to make quality/ repair decisions based on visual inspections of products within prescribed guidelines.Customer-focused, self-motivated, organized and professionalCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USMore about us
