Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Lead Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall infrastructure strategy of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, cloud computing, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will lead our MSPs overseeing cloud infrastructure, network and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our infrastructure.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Design and architect scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives.Lead the infrastructure team in the development, implementation and management of network, server, and storage architectures.Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and performance.Collaborate with application architects, developers, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.Develop and maintain documentation designs, processes, and procedures.Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure management, including monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery. (Business continuity planning)Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning to ensure infrastructure meets current and future business needs.Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in infrastructure technologies.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in infrastructure technologies.Working Conditions:

Hybrid position. May consider remote.Open office environmentWillingness to work overtime hours as necessary, especially during critical issue resolution and to achieve project milestones.24-hour on-call support will require some nights and weekends. Will be required to carry cell phone and be accessible after hours as needed.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field;7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design and management, with a focus on architecture.Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.x., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience may be suited for educationRelevant certifications (ie. AWS certified solutions architect)Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices.Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
