**Shift:** Night Shift, 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 2+ years of acute care nursing experience, 2+ completed travel assignments (6+ months)
**License:** Valid RN license
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, Telemetry Interpretation, IV Insertion
**Must-Have:** Ability to float as needed within skillset, every other weekend availability
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 44-bed unit with a patient ratio of 3:1 for 36 beds and 4:1 for 8 beds.- Interpret telemetry and manage complex patient diagnoses.- Care for patients with cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, irregular heart rates, COPD, pneumonia, renal failure, and pacemaker insertions.- Handle Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD).- Titrate drips for Heparin, Cardiazem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine (no titration required for Dobutamine).- Utilize Cerner electronic medical record system.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care.- Adapt to different clinical situations and environments as needed.- Maintain professional competency and stay current with advancements in nursing practices.
