The Manager, SR GIS Developer OSP Engineering role will manage our GIS department and ArcGIS suite. Create and develop the ArcGIS Enterprise application to support FTTX designs using QGIS, ArcGIS, and other GIS tools to analyze network data, and ensure top-notch quality control. Provide leadership, technical assistance, and guidance for capturing, modeling, and analyzing geographical and tabular data to illustrate and determine spatial relationships as it pertains to multiple fiber project types (FTTH, FTTT, FTTB, FTTX). Will need to utilize GIS and related data to support engineering, construction, and other departments at Ezee Fiber.

ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the GIS process and procedures for Ezee Fiber Deployment.Enhance and develop Ezee GIS best practices through industry knowledge and expertise in development of enterprise GIS systems.Manager, coordinate, and build the GIS department through hiring, coaching, training, and developing the team to align with the growing scale of Ezee's deployment strategy.Coordinate and develop a GIS team to support engineering, construction, and PMO and other departments.Creating and reviewing comprehensive feature databases, datasets, and GIS deliverables to support fiber deployment.Experience and demonstrated proficiency in data extraction, analysis, and scripting tools, preferably PostgreSQL.Development of GIS and GIS based Applications, using ArcGIS API for JavaScript or other JavaScript mapping APIsDevelop GIS tools and applications, perform complex analyses, and develop multi-layered maps by using an appropriate combination of tools in the GIS application suite and other programming environments.Create and manage the GIS processes and develop them to meet strict Ezee Fiber design standards.Coordinate and communicate with OSP team members, additional internal departments, and vendors to advance project objectivesProvide weekly reports, updates, and project tracking milestones to internal and external resources as needed.Support OSP construction teams as needed.Create, update, and maintain robust quality assurance GIS automated processes.Communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing.Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the department.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or 5-7 years relevant work experience.ArcGIS/ESRI Products work experience required.High competence in ESRI GIS software suite (Arc 10. x) including, but not limited to: ArcSDE and ArcGIS Enterprise (server, portal, web adaptors, data stores).Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc..)Basic knowledge of FTTH/Telecom industry design principles a plus.Knowledge of GIS processes across multiple system platformsProficiency in creating models and QA processes for data integrityExperience with Safe Software Feature Manipulation Engine (FME).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Self-starter with a technical background in software and the ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to multitask and work on multiple projects coupled with experience in working with fast-paced engineering in a production environment.Strong organizational skills.Pay & Benefits
