Job Description
The IT Analyst for Smart Manufacturing will execute Solution and Service Delivery for Plant Applications. This role will participate in gathering requirements, configuring, testing, installing, and maintaining the solutions for our plants. Strong technical knowledge and experience in development, configuration and deployments of Shop Floor applications are preferred. Willingness to learn fast with a passion for manufacturing is essential.
Responsibilities
Product Ownership
Point-of-contact between Plant and IT, work with the lead IT Product Owners to liaise with the business to plan requirements that outline the minimum marketable feature, measurable benefit to the business, and definition of done.Keep up with the latest trends in manufacturing processes, plant automation and plant asset managementParticipate in user forums to share information on best practices, learn user pain points, improve skills, advance general knowledge on EAM domainSolution DevelopmentCollaborate with the business to gather requirements, map the value chain and document the proposed future stateDesign solutions, Install, configure, test, load data and debug plant applications and mobile solutionsAssist Site Acceptance Testing and User TrainingService Delivery
Provide support to the plants to configure, troubleshoot and fix system production issues onsite or remote.Analyze system problems to identify solutions, coordinate resolution of issues across teams and provide timely update to stakeholdersCreate job aid documentation (user guides, training materials) and checklists to assist users in navigating around deployed systemsBasic Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldDemonstrated deep system analytical skills, collecting / organizing system and DB information, problem solving0-5 years of related experience with a focus on project and support workSAP PM, DB Table Navigation, Excel, Visio, Scripting in Winshuttle / LSMW, Familiarity with Mobile applicationsBenefits & Compensation Package Includes:
