Job Description
CentraCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team working with our Weight Management Team and Eating Disorders Program in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will be a member of our collaborative team of Physicians, Providers, Registered Dietitians, and nurses working to provide patient and family centered care throughout the practice.
Position Details
St. Cloud, MN at the River Campus Clinic
Full Time, 1.0 FTE
Monday- Friday, 7:30am- 4:00pm

Focus on treating, helping, and impacting the whole person
Multidisciplinary approach to weight loss offers a variety of surgical and medical weight loss options designed to meet a person's specific needs and achieve the best long-term outcomes.
Collaborative team of physicians, advanced practice providers and dietitians
Position Responsibilities within Weight Management
Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations on patientsPre-op and Post-Op visitsFormulate the appropriate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination, and clinical findingsOrder and evaluate pertinent laboratory data and diagnostic proceduresPrescribe pharmacological agents and non-pharmacological therapiesPlan a course of treatment with the patientConsult with physicians as needed and make appropriate referrals for care

To be considered for our position you would need to:
Be certified as a Nurse Practitioner or have a current Minnesota Physician Assistant Licensure
We would prefer that you have:
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working independently with your own patient panel in one of the following areas:
Family Practice
Weight Management
Endocrine
Chronic Disease Management
Eating Disorders
In addition, all applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.
