Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Fetal Monitor Certification, NRP, BLS Must-Have: - Fetal monitor interpretation - High-risk antepartum care - Active labor management - C-section circulation - Post-partum care - Circumcision assist procedures - Bili light care - Lab draw from mother and baby - Magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio - Manage couplets with a 3:1 patient ratio - Collaborate with a supportive team in a close-knit, family-oriented unit - Utilize Monica wireless fetal monitoring and GE fetal monitoring equipment - Document patient information using Meditech/CPN systems - Perform bedside reports and safety rounding to enhance patient experience - Assist in C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, and antepartum testing - Adhere to required dress code in navy uniforms - Engage in self-scheduling with every 3rd weekend scheduling requirements - Float to sister facilities as needed - Participate in unit-based council and ongoing professional development opportunities Join a team known for teamwork and a supportive atmosphere, dedicated to exceptional patient care and continuous learning.
