The company is uniquely situated in the market because it is large enough to serve many locations in Texas while retaining the family-owned feel that started in 1979.About the Position:The HVAC Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver is a versatile role responsible for supporting the efficient operations of an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) company. This position involves handling various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving and organizing HVAC equipment and supplies, preparing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to customers. The role requires a combination of warehouse duties and safe driving skills.Essential Responsibilities:Warehouse Duties:Receive and Inspect Goods: Receive shipments of HVAC equipment and supplies, checking for accuracy and quality. Ensure all received items are in proper condition and match the accompanying documentation.Inventory Management: Organize and manage inventory, including shelving, labeling, and categorizing items. Regularly update inventory records and report discrepancies to supervisors.Order Preparation: Assemble orders based on customer requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Package items securely for safe transportation.Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment as needed, such as cleaning and minor repairs.Warehouse Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Properly handle and store hazardous materials, following regulatory requirements.Delivery Driver Duties:Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Consider factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and delivery priorities.Loading and Unloading: Safely load HVAC equipment and supplies onto the delivery vehicle, securing items to prevent damage during transportation. Unload items at customer locations using proper equipment and techniques.Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including professional communication, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues or concerns on-site.Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, delivery confirmations, and any required signatures. Submit necessary paperwork and documentation to the office.Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition. Report any maintenance needs or repairs promptly.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications, Attributes, Education, and/or Experience:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field.Familiarity with HVAC equipment and supplies is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes.Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.Must have experience driving an 18' box truck and or 24' stake bed.Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) frequently.Computer Skills:Basic computer skills
