Responsibilities:

As a Bakery Applications Scientist, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading and managing bakery projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  2. Collaborating with the product development team to create and implement innovative bakery solutions that meet our customers' needs and preferences.
  3. Conducting research to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the bakery industry, and utilizing this knowledge to develop new and improved products.
  4. Providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members, helping to foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  5. Working closely with other departments, including marketing, sales, and quality assurance, to ensure that our products are successfully launched and well-received by our customers.
  6. Regularly reviewing and evaluating our bakery processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Bakery Applications Scientist position, you must have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the bakery industry, with a focus on product development and project execution.
  3. Proven experience managing bakery projects from concept to completion, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
  4. Strong knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in the bakery industry, with the ability to translate this knowledge into innovative product ideas.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome challenges.
  6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from various departments.
