*Job description*Duties:- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care or tube feeding- Maintain a clean and organized patient environmentExperience:- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role preferred- Knowledge of basic physiology and medical terminology- Familiarity with behavioral health and working in a medical office setting- Experience with specialized procedures such as spinal taps or working in an ICU- Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care facility is a plus- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as eClinicalWorks- Understanding of primary care principles and patient care plans- Knowledge of tube feeding techniques and protocols- Ability to accurately complete medical documentationAs a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients.
