KBR is seeking a
P-8A Pilot
to join our team in
Dallas, Texas . The selected applicant will be a Senior P-8A Pilot supporting the Navy’s Advanced Sensor Technologies Program Office (AST PO), providing test and evaluation (T&E) ground and flight support. The work is primarily conducted in and around Dallas-Fort Worth, but 25% travel is required. Responsibilities: Providing flight services for P-8 training flights, support services flights (logistics, transport, VIP, demonstration), maintenance, acceptance testing, and flight testing (operational test, developmental test, Integration and test, and science and technology). Participating in all aircrew training, ground training, and flight training. Assisting Integrated Test Team (ITT) with mission planning and airspace coordination Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience is required Must have past or current qualification in P-8A aircraft. A minimum of 1200 hours in the P-8A aircraft. Past or current designation as a P-8A Patrol Plane Commander (PPC) and P-8A Instructor Pilot (IP) A minimum of five years’ experience in the operational employment of airborne, search, detect, and tracking systems, as utilized on maritime surveillance aircraft. Demonstrated ability to work with integrated test teams that are comprised of military civilian, and contractor personnel. Ability to pass the physical and qualification requirements to provide contract aircrew support. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Applicant selected is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the past six (6) years (or currently enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program) is required. Must be able to travel 25% of travel is required for this role. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline Operational experience with DoD active-duty customers Past or current designation as P-8A Air-to-Air Refueling Pilot Flying (AAR PF) Experience with APS-154 DT and/or OT systems test experience of P-8A family systems. Recent experience with RDT&E and/or acquisition for advanced military electronics/computer systems. Advanced Sensor Technologies Program Office experience.
