Wetland Delineators/Botanists
for projects located in
Northern California . The role of a wetland delineator requires technical skills, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Field crews will conduct fieldwork in a safe manner in alignment with ERM and the client’s safety expectations. Pay is commensurate with experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:Performing and overseeing aquatic resource delineations and assessments in the field using ESRI fieldmaps and sub-meter GPS data collection.Performing and overseeing rare plant surveys and vegetation community mapping in the field.Delineating wetlands per the 1987 Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual and applicable Regional Supplements.Delineating OHWM using applicable Regional Supplements. Conducting habitat assessments.Data entry, data review, and expertise with ESRI fieldmaps and sub-meter GPS data collection.Lead preparation of biotic reports, aquatic resources assessment, JDs and associated mitigation plans in compliance with state and federal requirements, serving in roles ranging from lead technical expert to QA/QC.Permit application assistance, as requested.Other duties as assigned or required.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in natural science field of study preferred.Minimum of five (5) field seasons of wetland delineation experience using the 1987 Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineations Manual and Regional Supplement(s) and appropriate wetland delineation training or coursework.Familiarity with Army Corps of Engineers Regional Supplements for the Arid West and Great Plains.Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on challenging terrain.Ability to work weekends, on-call as-needed.Ability to work in the field for an extended period.Expertise in sub-meter accuracy GPS technologies and map interpretation skills (e.g., NWI, USGS, aerial photography).Strong communication and organizational skills.Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.For the

position, we anticipate the annual base pay of
$76,000 – $112,800 (USD) . An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
