Position Summary
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst safeguards Empower’s digital infrastructure by monitoring for threats, leading incident response, and conducting risk assessments. This role ensures compliance with regulations like General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), supporting Empower’s mission to provide safe, affordable medications and improve lives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Continuously monitors security systems, investigates incidents, and leads response efforts, including containment and remediation.Conducts forensic investigations to identify root causes of breaches and provides detailed reports for future prevention.Performs regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to maintain a robust security posture.Implements corrective measures and ensures compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.Provides training and guidance on security best practices while communicating complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. Knowledge and Skills

Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Ethical Hacker, or Global Information Assurance Certification are required.
