The Head of Frontier Technologies is a key leadership position. Your responsibilities include leading and managing the C4IR teams in San Francisco, delivering significant institutional flagship initiatives, and establishing the Forum as the primary resource for consensus-building on AI and other frontier technologies.
Reporting Lines and Interactions
This role will report to the Head, AI, Data and Metaverse in Geneva and will manage a team of staff while intersecting with a wide range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Build and lead global communities of senior leaders and experts in the AI and frontier technologies ecosystem.
Connect and deepen engagement with Bay Area constituents and the broader technology ecosystems.
Manage, coach, and develop C4IR teams in San Francisco.
Originate, build, and oversee strategic multistakeholder initiatives and partnerships.
Ensure the successful delivery of relevant C4IR events.
Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders to elevate initiatives.
Onboard and advise Fellows on priority issues.
Requirements and Experience
Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in relevant sectors.
Staff management experience with culturally diverse teams.
Experience managing complex multistakeholder projects.
Demonstrated thought leadership on AI and frontier technologies.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Collaborative, agile, and results-oriented.
Strong verbal and written language skills in English; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
