Job Overview

As a TSM – Paint, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting Festool's range of painting related products to Paint dealers and contractors in an assigned territory. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market share by building strong relationships, providing product expertise, and offering solutions that meet our dealer and end customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in the retail paint industry.

Identify and engage with dealers and end-users to promote Festool's paint-related products.

Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Festool paint product line.

Provide technical support, product recommendations, and solutions to customers based on their specific painting needs & applications.

Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and close sales opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using company provided CRM tool.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and challenges.

Prospect for new distribution opportunities within the paint dealer channel.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

No territory sales experience required, three (3) years of related experience preferred

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to effectively influence and persuade others

Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

Ability to actively listen; giving full attention to what customers are saying

Ability and desire to learn new concepts and willingness to put them into practice

Demonstrated commitment to professional development through coaching from direct manager and other colleagues

Ability to comfortably demonstrate power tools in a safe & effective manner

Must possess strong planning, prioritizing, and goal setting skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

Must present and maintain a positive and professional appearance;

Willingness to travel 60-70% for customer visits, trade shows, and events

Valid driver's license and ability to operate motor vehicle safely, in accordance with company auto policy

Ability to set-up customer events including loading/unloading tools from company vehicle

Ability to lift up to 75lbs safely

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven track record in sales, preferably within the paint industry or related field

Knowledge of painting products, techniques, and applications

Bilingual (English & Spanish)
