Our talented teams work together, revolutionizing treatment, continually improving products, understanding unmet needs, and connecting communities.The Mission of Sanofi’s MSL Team and the Senior Medical Science Liaison is to be the trusted scientific partners in the field for external experts and decision-makers; engaging in mutual scientific exchanges to accelerate data dissemination.Main Responsibilities:Be the trusted scientific partner to key external experts by conducting timely, appropriate and frequent scientific exchanges.Develop robust stakeholder engagement plans to gather data and develop medical insights.Exhibit a high degree of scientific and clinical knowledge in the therapeutic field.Identify insights that deepen understanding of patients, consumers, regulators, payers, and healthcare providers.Maintain effective communication and collaboration among internal stakeholders.Ensure excellence in execution within governance processes.Engagement with External Stakeholders:Engage with external stakeholders on medical and scientific information exchange.Establish robust, long-term peer relationships with thought leaders.Lead discussions on medical, clinical, epidemiologic, and scientific topics.Engage with stakeholders to understand the impact of healthcare policies.Utilize the Scientific Engagement Model to create territory and stakeholder engagement plans.Data Gathering and Insights Generation:Recognize and elaborate on potential issues or topics of interest.Communicate key clinical and research issues to appropriate departments.Record and report insights appropriately.Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate distribution of key insights.Provide training to internal stakeholders and MSL team members.Support Evidence-Generation Activities:Maintain a high level of understanding on disease epidemiology and treatment pathways.Identify data collection opportunities and gather Real World Evidence.Context of the Job:Must operate independently and navigate complex regulatory environments.Possible substantial travel: nationally and internationally.About YouQualifications:Advanced degree (MD, PhD, Pharm D) preferred, or other Relevant Life Sciences Degree required.Experience:More than 2 years of experience in medical affairs.Minimum of 2 years MSL Experience.Skills & Knowledge:Demonstrable high level of strategic thinking related to stakeholder mapping.Proven abilities in scientific/medical engagement and stakeholder plan development.Deep understanding of local regulations and codes of practice.Strong technical expertise in product knowledge and clinical development.Why Choose Us?Bring the miracles of science to life alongside a supportive team.Discover endless opportunities to grow your talent.Enjoy a thoughtful rewards package.The salary range for this position is $140,250.00 - $187,000.00 USD Annually.
